I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
